Lo más rebelde y moderno en sonido hoy en día viene de lugares misteriosos, lo experimental siempre está controlado, armado y dirigido por empresas. El rock ya fue. Por mucho que yo ame esos tarros mugrosos, los Guns dejaron de ser lo que eran hace muchos siglos. Queda poco heavy metal que merezca respeto, ahora todo tiene el mal del izquierdista renovado: Probablemente partieron siendo rebeldes y anti-sistema, pero al ir envejeciendo se vendieron al sistema totalmente, y si bien puede que exista algo de calidad, la pose de muchos es puro chiste de gente esclava del copyright, que vende limited editions a precio absurdo, para que los pendejos chicos se crean malos al escucharlos, mientras ellos (malos for real) mandan a niños a la cárcel por bajar sus pinches mp3.
En este panorama aburrido nada demasiado interesante florece. Pero hace poco gracias a mi esposa descubrí una banda que mezcla todo lo que me interesa: Son rebeldes. Tienen lo mejor del hip hop y el rap contemporáneo. Tienen el tremendo estilo, están rodeados e influídos por músicos y artistas increíbles, mezclan sus raíces culturales con elementos basura que imperan en el mundo, rescatando elementos del del comic y el cine, y por si todo esto fuera poco para amarlos, partieron de muy abajo y han logrado ascender en el mundo, libres de pitutos, y siendo rudos. Si no aún no los conoces, es la hora de hacerlo.
